Alternate operating system for Nokia N series?

I was just asking if there could possibly be a way to switch from symbian OS on a nokia mobile phone , If so : is mobile linux and windows mobile an option

No, it is not possible to change the OS on the Nokia Phones.

You cannot even change it from Symbian OS7 to OS8 or any variant.. let alone change to a different OS like Win Mobile.

The best you can do is get the latest firmware upgrade – either over the internet or from a Nokia Care Center. Check http://nokia.co.uk for further details
