Today, there are separate electronic device which suits one particular purpose only – and performs it to its maximum potential.  For example, if you are looking for a music player, there are a lot of media players which can offer you a wide range of audio features and excellent audio quality.

Another example is if you are looking for a digital camera – there are ultra-expensive models which come with every feature that you can ever imagine.

But what if you are looking for an all-in-one device which plays music, takes great pictures and serves as a mobile phone as well? Fortunately, the smartphones of today have rolled all of these features into one nifty electronic device.

No longer to users need to be torn between owning a really good music phone which has an average camera – or a really good camera phone which plays average quality music.

Thanks to the advancements in technology and the dozens of mobile phone manufacturing companies competing to sell the best units in the market – these two features have been successfully combined in smartphones.

Nokia N96 Review – Combining Home and Work With Your Nokia N96

Posted by: Anwar Mehdi  /  Category: Nokia Review

The newest smartphone in the Nokia “N” series is the Nokia N96, the replacement for the N95. Many of the same features are available on the Nokia N96 but have been upgraded and expanded to create a 3G smartphone that is versatile enough to be used for home and work. With a dual camera, one a 5.1 megapixel and the other a VGA on the front of the phone, you can be sure to capture whatever strikes you as important at the moment. With auto focus and flash capabilities, it doesn’t matter where you might be at the time you need to snap a photograph of an important moment or event.

Those who do a great deal of messaging or emailing may find the standard keypad inconvenient but when you compare that inconvenience to the rest of the great features on the Nokia N96, it’s rather a minor disadvantage. For example, you have a high quality music player that you can tote wherever you go and a memory slot that allows you to expand internal memory to 8 GB. For music-on-the go, that’s a lot of memory.

The video capabilities are another great feature of the Nokia N96. Whether you are using the Nokia N96 for home or office use, the video recording feature will capture whatever moment you wish to record. If you’re only looking for still photos, the 5.1 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash can capture the best of any moment in the sharpest clarity possible on a camera phone. In sharp contrast to many camera phones, this one actually provides clear and sharp pictures that you can then download or email to your computer and save for printing.
